[DPLAsteering] DPLA application

Good Morning:

Jillian emailed me yesterday and asked about the status of the DPLA service hub application.  My apologies - I kept meaning to send an email to the steering committee and those newly appointed to the Advisory Committee or as an operational liaison but it kept falling to the bottom of the pile.

The draft written by the Bishoff Group was reviewed and edited and submitted, with a cover letter from Beverly Cain, to DPLA August 5. I received a response from Emily Gore August 8 saying it would be reviewed by DPLA staff & the other Hubs and that she would be back in touch with feedback as soon as possible.

In the meantime I have been working with State Library administration and HR and I think we have staffing figured out. We should have 3 positions ready to post once DPLA says we are approved.
