[DPLAsteering] DPLA Ohio updates: Ohio portal to the DPLA

Sorry, this is rather after the fact, but despite loving the logos themselves, I just now actually read the tagline "Ohio portal to the DPLA."

Are we truly creating an "Ohio portal to the DPLA"? For me, "portal" sounds like a public access portal to Ohio content in the DPLA--is this what we are doing?

I'm sure our awesome Advocacy WG spent a lot of time on this--is there a back story on the tagline? I looked through the report for it, but may have missed it.

Good Morning:

It has been several months since the DPLA Symposium and much has been happening behind the scenes.  The six working groups have presented their draft documents to the Steering Committee.  Feedback is being received and working groups will be submitting their final reports in the next few weeks. These will be used to make final decisions regarding the prototype and will be used to write the application to DPLA for the Ohio Service Hub.  But we need your help now.  The Advocacy Working Group has worked with a designer to develop a logo for DPLA Ohio.  Please visit the survey and vote for which logo you feel best represents DPLA Ohio.
