The Cleveland Archival Roundtable is sponsoring an SOA Archives 101 =
workshop for beginners at Cleveland State University on Saturday, =
October 1, from 10 AM to 4 PM.  This is an introduction to archives for =
people who lack archival experience but who find themselves responsible =
for the records of their club, church, or other organization.  It will =
provide basic information and skills needed to collect, appraise, =
process, describe and service their records.  It will be taught by Anna =
Heran (University of Cincinnati) from the Society of Ohio Archivists.  =
Cost is $30 and the deadline for registration is Friday, September 23.  =
