[SOA] Church Archives

I am a graduate student in the Public History Program at Wright State 
University.  Even though I have taken several archival classes, I need 
advice as to what information to save for a church archives.

Does anyone have suggestions on what to archive for a church?  Or, if 
you know of any books or material that I can read concerning this 
subject, that would be helpful.
