[SOA] SOA Merit Awards-- Call for Nominations

The Society of Ohio Archivists is accepting nominations for 2007 Merit
Awards. These awards are given to individuals or organizations that have
by excellence in deeds, actions, or initiatives improved the state of
archives in Ohio over the past year. Merit Awards are an opportunity to
recognize colleagues who have:

*	developed exemplary programs
*	shown leadership on the local, state, or national level
*	created innovative projects or approaches 
*	supported archives through advocacy efforts

 

Past award winners are listed on the SOA website:

recognized during the Annual Meeting at the SOA/MAC Conference in May
and will be presented with a plaque in honor of their achievements. To
nominate an individual or organization for a Merit Award, please send an
e-mail with the person(s)/organization name and a brief explanation of
why they are being nominated to Angela O'Neal, SOA Vice-President at
aoneal at ohiohistory.org Nominations must be received by Tuesday, April
10, 2007. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any
