The Journal of Northwest Ohio History, formerly published continuously since
1928 as the Northwest Ohio Quarterly, is actively seeking unpublished
scholarship addressing Northwest Ohio's political, military, social,
economic, cultural, and ethnic history.   The Journal of Northwest Ohio
History is a publication of the Maumee Valley Historical Society.

The Journal is also interested in publishing studies based upon historic
preservation, archeology, anthropology, sociology, political science, urban
and cultural geography, material culture studies, oral history, and local
history.

The Journal is a refereed periodical, with the members of the Journal's
editorial board and volunteer reviewers being drawn from the region's
colleges and universities, libraries, archival repositories, historical
societies, and museums.

Articles submitted to the Journal of Northwest Ohio History should generally
be no more than twenty pages in length, with internal documentation in the
form of endnotes.  The format style should conform to the standards set out
in the Chicago Manual of Style.
