Hi all,

 

The Greater Dayton Chapter of ARMA is sponsoring a day long spring
workshop Wednesday, April 29, 2009 - Digitizing Projects101: Developing
a Digital Library and Archives.  The presenter for the workshop is
Angela O'Neal, Digital Projects Manager at the Ohio Historical Society.


 

Participants will learn how to plan a digitization project from the
ground up. This workshop includes how to select materials for
digitization, technical equipment needed, and options for making your
digital library available on the Web.

 

In this economic times- at just $40 for members of ARMA, SOA, CARMA,
MVAR and students and $45 for non-members this day long workshop is a
bargain!!  Included in this price are all handouts, a continental
breakfast, lunch by Creatif Catering, and an afternoon beverage break.

 

The workshop is being held at the Madison Lakes Conference Center in
Dayton.  A serene quiet location located on Olive Road.

 

If you wish to attend please get your registration and money in ASAP, as
the workshop is limited to the first 50 responders.  We will accept
checks and we will invoice with an approved purchase order number.
