I like the music idea - it is something very different and would be interesting to find out who in Ohio has music archives - Pam Eyerdam

Lisa,

How about the Civil War as another idea? Next spring is the beginning of the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the war, and last year we
did abolition as a lead-in to the commemoration. We could get some good publicity through the CW150 program (http://www.ohiocivilwar150.org/)
and the multiple commemorative events that will be happening over the course of the year.

I think Science would be really great - schools are more and more adopting the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
curriculum, as are other educational websites and supplementary programs, and this would be an excellent tie-in as well as capture some
of the more obscure collections that are lurking out there and really potentially bring out some real heroes in our state (we've done a lot in
Ohio - Benadryl is an Ohio product developed by an Engineer, as an example) - you could even talk about war and science, as medical science
gets some big boosts anytime that war is upon us.

My two cents.
