[SOA] Reminder: Student and New Professionals Scholarship applications due March 15

Less than 2 weeks to get your applications in!

 

The Society of Ohio Archivists is pleased to announce two scholarships
available to students and new archival professionals with 3 years or
less experience in the workplace. 

 

The scholarship would consist of conference registration (including
lunch), SOA one year membership, and travel money ($75).  Awardees would
be asked to write about their experience and have that published in the
Ohio Archivist. 

 

Applications will be rated based on:

*	Applicant's written statement of how the conference will benefit
them professionally 
*	Applicant's scholarship and contribution to archives, in
comparison with his/her number of years in the field or academic study 
*	Applicant's level of financial support for attending the
conference 

 

Applications must be received either via mail or email to the address
below by March 15, 2011.
