Don't Miss This Great Opportunity!

Seats are still available for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)
symposium recognizing the sacrifice and dedication of Civil Air Transport
(CAT) and Air America (AA) personnel, June 2 at 5:30 p.m. at the National
Museum of the U.S. Air Force.

During the symposium, nearly 900 recently declassified documents from 1946
to 1978 will be released from CAT, AA and CIA files. The event will also
mark the public debut of a film titled "Extraordinary Fidelity," which
details the ordeal of two American prisoners in communist China.

CAT and AA, both CIA air proprietary companies, routinely supplied and
supported covert operations, provided search and rescue capabilities for the
U.S. military and conducted photo reconnaissance in Asia from the end of
World War II through the Southeast Asia War.

Former Assistant Secretary of the Air Force, Craig Duehring, will serve as
the event's keynote speaker. Duehring, who served as a U.S. Air Force
forward air controller in South Vietnam and Laos, will share his personal
story of being rescued by Air America. The symposium will also feature
stories from CIA historians Dr. Tim Castle and Dr. Nick Dujmovic.

Those attending the event will receive a commemorative booklet and DVD
containing copies of the 900 declassified documents, photos, interviews and
film "Extraordinary Fidelity."

The symposium is free and open to the public. No tickets are necessary but
seating will be limited to the first 1,000 people. Seating will open at 4:30
p.m. on a first-come, first served basis. Those planning to attend are asked
to RSVP by May 31 at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CIA2011 or (937)
255-1670.

War, the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force is renovating its Southeast
Asia Gallery. The new gallery features exhibits about the war in Laos, where
the U.S. Air Force and the CIA both conducted covert operations. A display
about LS 85 is scheduled to open this August.

The National Museum of the United States Air Force, located near Dayton,
Ohio, is the oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world, with
more than 360 aerospace vehicles and missiles on display, amid more than 17
acres of indoor exhibit space.
