Artifacts for Archivists: Tricks of the Trade from Museum Professionals
The Society of Indiana Archivists invites you to join us for our Fall
Workshop, Artifacts for Archivists: Tricks of the Trade from Museum
Professionals.
When: Friday, October 4, 2013: 9:00 AM-4:00 PM
Where: Indiana State Museum, Indianapolis, Indiana
Cost: $35 for members, $45 for non-members
This workshop is limited to the first 60 registered. The registration
deadline is Monday, September 30, 2013.

The Indiana State Museum's head conservator, Gaby Kienitz and Butler
University archivist, Sally Childs-Helton will teach you how to care for and
make accessible the artifacts almost every cultural repository contains,
including cleaning, storing, exhibiting, accessioning, cataloging, and more.
The workshop will include a tour of the Indiana State Museum stacks and
conservation lab. Lunch will be on your own. People are welcome to contact

Participants may apply for ACA credits and LEUs.
