[SOA] Seeking editor for the SOA newsletter

Seeking expressions of interest for the volunteer position of editor of the Society of Ohio Archivists newsletter, the Ohio Archivist.

The newsletter is published twice a year, in the spring and fall. The OA has been published in online form only since the fall 2001 issue. All online issues can be found at http://www.ohioarchivists.org/?page_id=1180 

The editor is appointed by the President, serves as a non-voting ex officio member of Council, and must be an individual member of SOA. The term is 3 years and begins January 1, 2015. Preference will be given to candidates who can begin training in an apprentice role on the production of fall 2014 issue. 

Duties of the editor include delivering publication-ready content to the layout artist, coordination of assistant editors, coordination of submissions from Council and others, copyediting, and promotion.
