Overview:

Researchers, students, faculty, scholars, professional librarians and other information seekers use OCLC services to obtain bibliographic, abstract and full-text information when and where they need it. Responsibilities:


*        Digitize analog documents using scanner

*        Import digital documents into CONTENTdm

*        Conduct inventories of archive documents

*        Assist with maintaining Library/Archives web site

Qualifications:

Required:

*        Active interest in working in a library archive environment.

*        Strong organizational skills.

*        Ability to perform detailed work, i.e. processing and creating document metadata, categorizing items and adding to archive digital collections.

*        Comfortable learning software such as CONTENTdm.

*        Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

*        Able to lift heavy document file boxes of up to 20 lbs.
Desired:

*        Capable of editing and/or creating HTML code.

*        Previous work experience in an archive or library environment.
