[SOA] Call for History Day judges - 4/25

I just got an email saying they were still in need, so passing it on (I'll be there!). If you have never had the chance to be involved in judging, it's very rewarding! I've had the opportunity to judge documentaries, papers, websites, and exhibits--and they are often amazing.

Join us at the 2015 Ohio History Day State Competition!

The State Competition is on April 25th, 2015 at Ohio Wesleyan University. We will have breakfast (pastries and coffee) and a judges orientation from 8:00 am - 9:00 am and judging of entries from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm with an afternoon break for lunch (sandwiches and sides). Anyone can participate and we have a significant need for volunteers so please share the opportunity with friends and colleagues.

To register online make sure you use a browser other than Internet Explorer and enable pop-ups. Follow these steps to register:

  *   Visit http://oh.nhd.org/register.php<https://connect.ohiohistory.org/page.redir?target=http%3a%2f%2foh.nhd.org%2fregister.php&srcid=19358&srctid=1&erid=3798133&trid=7a85c6a3-0457-4bbd-a0b5-d6fea4769d06> and select the 2015 Ohio History Day State Competition
  *   Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "judge" from the drop-down list and click "GO"
  *   On the next page select the link "Don't have a username and password? Click here to begin." You'll be asked to complete a personal information form, including a username and password for yourself. You will need to create a new username and password even if you judged at a previous event.
  *   Fill out all the requested information including which division(s) and catergory(ies) you would prefer to judge.
  *   Once you have registered we will contact you within a few days to check in and provide you with additional information.
  *   If you have any questions or get stuck with the online registration please email historyday at ohiohistory.org<mailto:historyday at ohiohistory.org> and we can help.
  *   If you would like information to send to friends/colleagues about Ohio History Day, please email historyday at ohiohistory.org<mailto:historyday at ohiohistory.org> and we can send you everything you will need.
