There is still time to apply for one of Ohio's premier events -- Library Leadership Ohio

Library Leadership Ohio will awaken, Inspire, and engage the leader in you by allowing you to define and inspire your individual leadership skills and potential.

The State Library of Ohio and OhioNET are again collaborating to bring you the 2016 Library Leadership Ohio Institute. LLO 2016 will be held at the Holiday Inn Worthington, beginning the evening of July 19, 2016 and concluding at noon July 22.  Tuition for LLO 2016 is $500. The event will once again be facilitated by Ivy Library from Charlottesville, VA.  Ivy Library<http://www.ivylibrary.com/> has over 20 years of experience with academic, public, school and special libraries.

LLO 2016 targets both support and professional library employees working in public, school, special, and academic libraries and all are eligible to apply. The selection committee is seeking applications from individuals that demonstrate the following:

*        Outstanding leadership potential

*        Excellent communication skills

*        Successful library employment experience

*        Initiative, commitment and reasonable risk taking

*        Forward-thinking approach to problem solving

*        A commitment to the profession



If these phrases are often used to describe you or if these are areas you would like to develop further, then LLO 2016 offers a venue, a curriculum, and a network of colleagues to grow your strengths and skills to become an Ohio Library Leader.


32 individuals will be selected to attend LLO 2016.  More information about the selection process and application are available at: www.libraryleadershipohio.org<http://www.libraryleadershipohio.org>. Complete applications must be received by 11:59 P.M. December 14, 2015.
