The Curator of Manuscripts and Digital Projects provides the oversight and coordination of digital projects for the Center for Archival Collections (CAC) and participates in departmental digital initiatives. Develops and oversees innovative, digital projects that enhance access, discovery and retrieval of collections, and coordinates the promotion and preservation of digital collections and manuscripts. Initiates and supervises archival processing and description of manuscript collections. Provides reference services for students, faculty, and off-campus researchers utilizing primary and secondary research materials.

REFORMATTING SPECIALIST

The Reformatting Specialist provides leadership in the administration of reformatting (micrographics and digitization) services for the micrographics laboratory of the Center for Archival Collections (CAC) to the BGSU community and the public, including both in-person and distance inquiries; administers, schedules, trains, and supervises all functions involving micrographics lab. Actively participates in the production of microfilm including filming, scanning, processing, quality control and duplication. Provides lead worker guidance to others in the work unit; performs related duties as required. Assists with University records management and supports the facilitation of handling of print and electronic records.
