Have you seen them?
Society of American Archivist’s Committee for Ethics and Professional Conduct is proud that four case studies have been written and published in the last year and are available online at: http://www2.archivists.org/groups/committee-on-ethics-and-professional-conduct/case-studies-in-archival-ethics<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www2.archivists.org_groups_committee-2Don-2Dethics-2Dand-2Dprofessional-2Dconduct_case-2Dstudies-2Din-2Darchival-2Dethics&d=AwMFaQ&c=k9MF1d71ITtkuJx-PdWme51dKbmfPEvxwt8SFEkBfs4&r=opnn12c7MQOz38FwqGIl_AzFFEvirlI3uafMn5Sqd08&m=b8fQFbm9wm40RCD54TqzBhQlZZDj2FHHanY5yAJE9Go&s=rq4mYSkIJh6xRENhQfybd8OnY1XBep05AHHODoWjp-8&e=>
These case studies are written by real people and cover real situations encountered by archivists working in the field. They are guides on how to approach similar situations for other archivists and those studying archives.
The CEPC committee is still looking for archivists to provide case studies covering other areas in the Code of Ethics (http://www2.archivists.org/statements/saa-core-values-statement-and-code-of-ethics<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www2.archivists.org_statements_saa-2Dcore-2Dvalues-2Dstatement-2Dand-2Dcode-2Dof-2Dethics&d=AwMFaQ&c=k9MF1d71ITtkuJx-PdWme51dKbmfPEvxwt8SFEkBfs4&r=opnn12c7MQOz38FwqGIl_AzFFEvirlI3uafMn5Sqd08&m=b8fQFbm9wm40RCD54TqzBhQlZZDj2FHHanY5yAJE9Go&s=HujaurIJXOSfcrTPtrhd6hDNXuwBcytqdYwUvubf8Qo&e=> )
So the CEPC committee is reaching out to YOU to help provide real instances where the Code of Ethics for Archivists apply. You may submit a case study at: http://www2.archivists.org/groups/committee-on-ethics-and-professional-conduct/call-for-case-studies-in-archival-ethics<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www2.archivists.org_groups_committee-2Don-2Dethics-2Dand-2Dprofessional-2Dconduct_call-2Dfor-2Dcase-2Dstudies-2Din-2Darchival-2Dethics&d=AwMFaQ&c=k9MF1d71ITtkuJx-PdWme51dKbmfPEvxwt8SFEkBfs4&r=opnn12c7MQOz38FwqGIl_AzFFEvirlI3uafMn5Sqd08&m=b8fQFbm9wm40RCD54TqzBhQlZZDj2FHHanY5yAJE9Go&s=zyGtCXSjzmsynMDGro1TCJnXDaQVGkPxeXD5UZddmB0&e=>
