DPLA Symposium - Registration now open

Thursday, December 3, 2015  10a.m.-4p.m.
State Library of Ohio

The Symposium will provide in-depth information about the planned DPLA Content Hub for Ohio, progress on the project and next steps.  Keynotes will be delivered by Emily Gore, Director for Content, DPLA, and Kerri Willette, Empire State Digital Manager. This will be followed by a discussion of the preliminary survey results.  Attendees will learn about how Ohio institutions can participate in the project and how DPLA can be used at the home institution.

In the afternoon attendees will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions conducted by each of the six Ohio DPLA working groups:  Technical, Metadata, Advocacy, Sustainability, Governance and Legal Agreements. Please note:  Registration is limited to two individuals per institution and is only open to those with digital collections. We recommend participation of administration level and/or digital initiative staff. Event attendance limited to 70.
