Call for Poster Presentations:  ArchivesFest in the City of Festivals

The Midwest Archives Conference will convene for its Annual Meeting April 27-30, 2016, in the great city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the shore of Lake Michigan. This magnificent city, known for brewing, Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, and a thriving arts and museum scene, will be the setting for an exciting conference!

Poster Proposals

The 2016 Program Committee invites poster proposal submissions on all aspects of archival practice and research, as well as from allied and related fields. Submissions from current students, as well as recent graduates (graduation year 2013 or later), are welcome. Proposals are due January 15, 2016.

Proposal Evaluation

The Program Committee will evaluate all proposals submitted by January 15, 2016. Proposals will be evaluated based on two criteria:

  *   Merit and clarity of the 250-word abstract; and
  *   Completeness of the proposal, particularly having well-developed content that demonstrates understanding of all relevant aspects of the topic.

Individuals will be notified of the committee's decision regarding their proposal via email on or before February 29, 2016.

The deadline for submitting poster proposals for the 2016 MAC Annual Meeting is January 15, 2016.
