[SOA] Gathering Repository Information for Statewide Archives Crawl Passport

We are working on organizing a statewide archives "passport" and regionally
organized “Archives Crawls” for Archives month in October. The ultimate
goal is to promote and raise awareness about Ohio archives in general by
creating an Ohio archives “passport” broken down by metropolitan regions
that would be available year round to researchers and edited yearly to
include October events. These will be kept small and easily printable so
that repositories can print and distribute to visitors as they see fit.

Even if an archival repository is unable to participate in crawl activities
in October (i.e. an open house, lecture or event, regional crawl
day/evening/weekend), they can still have their information listed in the
passport.

Thank you to those who responded earlier this year expressing interest in
organizing within your region! Right now I'd like to start collecting
repository information to be listed in the passport. If you are organizing
within your area and have an existing contact network (like our Miami
Valley Archives Roundtable in the Dayton region), please reach out to those
contacts to have them send their listing info.
