[SOA] MAC Newsletter seeks assistant editors for a two-year term

This is a great way to get involved in MAC. ( I wrote for Electronic Currents, then edited it, and eventually served 2 terms as the newsletter editor. It's a quality publication and great way to do some reading. )

The MAC Newsletter seeks assistant editors for a two-year term (8 quarterly issues, you would take on the responsibilities in mid to late February with the first content due 1 May 2018) for the following columns:

·         Electronic Currents

·         News from the Midwest (Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota, Wisconsin)

·         Preservation Essentials

Assistant editors for Electronic Currents and Preservation essentials are responsible for finding authors, working with them to get articles of about 1500 words submitted on time, and doing basic formatting and editing. The assistant editor for News from the Midwest is responsible for soliciting brief news items for the states identified and compiling and formatting those submissions.
