Support the Ohio History Fund




Hello Janet,
The Ohio History Fund is one of the few grant programs in the state solely for history projects. Your contribution to the “Ohio History Fund” tax check-off on your state tax return makes these grants possible. Tax time is here and the Ohio History Fund needs your help:

  *   To donate, look for "Ohio History Fund" on your Ohio tax return (line 26e) <https://ohiohistory.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=37ce5c8c24208a588c681edc5&id=f0dc1548ff&e=baef517f22> and designate a dollar amount. That’s it! Your tax-deductible donation goes to support history projects in communities across the state.





  *   Promote the tax check-off to your members, networks and contacts.   *   We’re also happy to send brochures, rack cards and other “swag” for you to share. Just tell him how many you need and the address where to send it.
  *   Now is the time to act: most people who contribute to the Ohio History Fund file their returns by Apr. 15. Most of the money the Ohio History Fund grants comes by this deadline.
Since the Ohio History Fund started in 2012, it has made 63 grants in 36 counties, totaling $598,000<https://ohiohistory.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=37ce5c8c24208a588c681edc5&id=5c4d7a085c&e=baef517f22>. There’s an even greater need: since 2013 the Ohio History Fund has received 347 grant applications from 59 counties, totaling almost $4.2 million in requests!

Our goal last year was $88,000 and we brought in $99,000! Our goal for 2019 is $100,000. The more we all give to the Ohio History Fund, the more grants it makes. The Ohio History Fund gives what its gets.
