[SOA] Ohio Statehood Day Advocacy Event, Wednesday, February 27, 9am-1:30pm

The annual Statehood Day advocacy event will be held of Wednesday, February
27 from 9am-1:30pm at the Ohio Statehouse Atrium. Come celebrate Ohio's
216th Birthday and join other Ohio history advocates from around the state!

Chief Glenna Wallace of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma will deliver
the keynote remarks at lunchtime. They will also recognize Somerset Mayor
Tom Johnson with the Ohio History Leadership Award and announce the 2018
Ohio History Fund grant recipients.

You can schedule a meeting with your state senator and/or state
representative, between 10 am and noon, to advocate for continued support
of Ohio history and initiatives that support local history. To learn more
