[SOA] Job Postings: Three positions open at the University of Dayton (two from special collections)

The University of Dayton welcomes individuals who are innovative,
collaborative, and service-oriented to apply for three librarian positions
at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, depending on
qualifications. The University Libraries provides significant professional
support to tenure-track librarians. All positions close on *April 7, 2019*

The Marian Library at the University of Dayton is recognized
internationally as a center for scholarship on the Blessed Virgin Mary. It
serves the research needs of faculty and students of the University of
Dayton community and visitors worldwide. It also documents the diverse
expressions of popular devotion to Mary, and it provides public outreach
through its exhibits, tours and reference services. The Marian Library's
holdings include over 100,000 circulating books; over 12,000 rare books;
almost 8,000 bound periodicals; over 1,000 linear feet of archival
material, and over 13,000 artworks. Visit the Marian Library website

The Marian Library is hiring a Librarian for Visual Resources that will
manage the art collection  and a Collections Librarian that will manage the
monographs and periodicals, including special collection materials.

Though not a special collections position (share will colleagues!) The
Health & Life Sciences Librarian is a member of the instruction team and
serves as liaison to academic departments in health and life sciences.
