[SOA] Educational Programming Committee (EPC) Call for Co-Chair

Hello Everyone,

The Society of Ohio Archivists’ Educational Programming Committee (EPC) is seeking a co-chair for its committee.

The EPC plans the annual SOA spring conference, joint fall meeting with Ohio Local History Alliance, and professional development workshops. For the spring conference, activities include choosing a conference theme, solicitation and selection of session presenters, selection of plenary speaker, publication and distribution of conference announcements, collecting conference evaluations, and planning professional development workshops of interest to members.

The co-chair position is a 2 year term. As co-chair, you will share oversight of the subcommittees within the EPC. Sub-committees include silent auction, sponsorships, posters, marketing, and preconference workshop. The majority of EPC meetings are conference calls, and much of the work is done by email or through Google Drive.
