Here's a follow-up to the March 13 call to organize in support of archives workers in precarious roles who may be affected by closures and remote work policies as institutions respond to the spread of COVID-19 -

The effort has grown into a group working to create the Archives Workers Emergency Fund for archival workers in contingent or precarious jobs who may be affected the current crisis, have limited workplace protections or sick time, and may suffer the loss of hours and income as a result.
