Like most things this year, COVID has brought new challenges and new considerations to the way museums engage with volunteers. With many museums focusing on virtual programming and for those whose volunteer corps might fall into a “high-risk” category, what about how museums can and should work with volunteers has changed? What important factors of volunteer engagement haven’t changed?

Join Jenny Woods, President of the American Association for Museum Volunteers to explore volunteer engagement and training in the COVID era, and how volunteering is suddenly changing at a rapid pace.

Drawing on the data from a recent survey on the impact of COVID on museum volunteer programs, we will discuss current reactions and responses, new best practices, and look at an uncertain future and the implications for volunteers and museums.

This webinar is relevant for volunteer managers, administrators, or anyone who works with volunteers.
