The Manuscripts Archivist in consultation with the Head Librarian, initiates and coordinates archival processing and description of manuscript collections in the Browne Popular Culture Library (BPCL). In conjunction with other University Libraries (UL) entities, serves as curator for outward facing exhibits, organizes public outreach activities, and develops partnerships with related organizations and collections to promote the BPCL collections. Assists in the training and functional supervision of student employees, graduate assistants as assigned. Provides reference services for students, faculty and off-campus researchers utilizing primary and secondary research materials. Participates in tours, presentations and library instruction activities for BGSU classes and off-campus groups.  Supports BGSU diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives   related to the UL, BPCL and the UL Special Collections Department.
