Born-digital records are an increasingly significant format in archival
repositories, and archivists need to know how to preserve them.  Yet,
born-digital formats can feel daunting.  Never fear!  Help is on the way!
This November 4th at the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives in
Frankfort, join other archivists in Kentucky to learn some of the basics of
born-digital records preservation.  We will be hosting two concurrent
webinars on born-digital preservation from the Society of American
Archivists, followed by a panel of our colleagues sharing some of their
born-digital preservation practices.  There will also be plenty of time for
conversation, as well as a repository tour!

*Date and Time:* November 4, 2022 / 10am registration, 11am program start
through optional KDLA tour starting at 3:30pm


* Location: *The Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives

*Cost: *$25 for KCA members (with an option to renew annual dues [$20] with
registration payment + $1 credit card fee) or $50 for non-KCA members
