[SOA] Register now! ALAO SCAig 2023 Virtual Annual Workshop: Growth and Change in Special Collections & Archives

Dear all,

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the Special Collections and Archives interest group (SCAig) of the Academic Library Association of Ohio's 2023 Annual Workshop, "Growth and Change in Special Collections & Archives." This workshop will take place on Tuesday May 23rd from 2-3 pm EST on Zoom.


This hour-long event will consist of two presentations. Each presentation will run about 20 minutes followed by a 15-minute Q&A session. The first presentation will focus on the counter-archives and its preservation of marginalized histories, while the second presentation will discuss sustainability in archives and climate change.


Joining us as presenters are:

  *   Kieran Robertson, Independent Historian; Data and Development Associate at Equality Ohio, presenting "Queer in the Archives"
  *   Eira Tansey, Memory Rising, Cincinnati, presenting "Ohio Archives and Climate Change"
