Through generous donations, OMA is very proud to once again offer those students who are seeking careers in the museum field Full Conference Registration Student Scholarships for OMA 2023.

Scholarships include all Sunday and Monday conference activities and registration, along with a 2023 Student Membership to the Ohio Museums Association. Thanks to a generous sponsor, all scholarships for 2023 also include a sleeping room for Sunday (March 26) at the conference hotel. Saturday tours are not included, but can be purchased seperately.

As part of the OMA Scholarship, each recipient is also responsible for writing one article for the OMA blog. This article is a way for our student attendees to share their unique perspective of the OMA 2023 conference experience.
To apply for an OMA 2023 Student Scholarship:

Applicants must be a current student (or entering school) in a museum-related field. Applicants must submit the following information as their application packet:

  *   Scholarship Application Form
  *   Current Resume (2 page limit)
  *   Essay (500 words or less) addressing the following topic:
How do you hope attending the OMA Annual Conference will be a relevant experience in preparing for your museum career? How will you plan to share knowledge from the conference in your academic studies?

Applicants must be currently working or volunteering at an Ohio museum, or professionals currently seeking a career in museums. Applicants must submit the following information as their application packet:

  *   Fellowship Application Form
  *   Current Resume (2 page limit)
  *   Essay (1000 words or less) addressing the following topics:
     *   How will your participation contribute to the rich, diverse discussions at the OMA Annual Conference?
     *   How will your participation at the conference contribute to your professional growth?
     *   How will you plan to share knowledge from the conference in your work?
