[SOA] Connect & Learn at the SOA Annual Conference ~ May 15 - 16th!

Dear SOA Members,

I can’t believe we’re just a few short weeks away from the SOA Annual
Conference! I’m proud that, despite the small size of our organization,
we’re once again able to offer a hybrid conference — and am excited about
this year’s program (full schedule and registration links available here
<https://ohioarchivists.org/annual_conference>) focused on archival
sustainability, donor relations, grant writing and management, and building
strong organizational partnerships. In addition to a slate of engaging
sessions led by professionally diverse cultural heritage workers, SOA will
also host two Crucial Conversations: one on funding JEDAI (Justice, Equity,
Diversity, Accessibility, and Inclusion) initiatives, and another on
archival work and advocacy amid today’s shifting political landscape.

I believe that SOA conferences are a valuable opportunity to connect with
colleagues from across the state, exchange ideas, and leave with fresh
inspiration and practical strategies. Along with the professional
development, you’ll enjoy lunch and refreshments with fellow attendees and
have the chance to support our scholarship program through the annual
silent auction.
