Digital Directions: Foundations for Digital Collections
Join the Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC) for a comprehensive overview of digital preservation, presented by information professionals with deep experience in the preservation of cultural heritage materials.
This interactive, online training spans three half-days and will cover essential concepts, best practices, and actionable strategies for managing digital collections. Throughout the program, participants will be introduced to free resources and tools for digital preservation. Participants will also have the chance to engage with faculty and fellow participants through small group discussions, allowing you to share experiences and solutions for common challenges. By the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of the next steps to strengthen your organization’s digital preservation efforts.

History
NEDCC first laid the groundwork for Digital Directions back in 1995 with the School for Scanning: A Conference on Digitization, Microfilm, and Preservation. We look forward to seeing you for another year of advancing digital preservation!
