[SOA] Midwest Archives Conference Membership

Dear colleagues,

As Ohio's representative to the Midwest Archives Conference (MAC), I want to give folks a heads up to please renew your membership or consider joining! MAC membership runs from January 1-December 3, so now is a good time to renew, if you haven't done so already.  Renewing members can re-up for $55.00; archives volunteers, interns, and students for $20.00; and institutional members for $100.00. If you're *not* a MAC member, now is a great time to join! Whether you've never been a member or whether it's been a few years since your membership lapsed, MAC is offering a 14-for-12 promotion for November: Join this month and receive the rest of 2025 for free and all of 2026 for only $35.00.

Membership in MAC ensures your eligibility to vote in the upcoming spring election and provides access to the MAC Newsletter, Archival Issues, the annual spring meeting, fall symposium, and more<https://midwestarc.memberclicks.net/membership-benefits>. This year, MAC also launched MACinars, a series of virtual continuing education opportunities. MAC members have told us about the importance of virtual professional development, especially for those whose personal and/or financial circumstances prevent them from attending the annual meeting or fall symposium. We are thrilled to offer such benefits, and we could not do it without our members' continued support.
