The Center for Archival Collections<https://www.bgsu.edu/library/cac.html> at Bowling Green State University Libraries is seeking submissions for its 2026 Local History Publication Awards. We would appreciate it if you could circulate the below announcement via your applicable institutional or professional communications channels, and/or to any authors you may know who have published eligible works during the previous year. Call for Submissions: 2026 Local History Publication Awards  
The Center for Archival Collections is now accepting submissions for the 2026 Local History Publication Awards, awarded to works on northwest Ohio history published during the calendar year 2025. Works published between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025 will be accepted.
The Local History Publication Awards seek to encourage and recognize authors for outstanding publications in the field of Local History. For this award, local history is geographically defined as the nineteen Ohio counties within the Center’s collecting scope (Allen, Crawford, Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Hancock, Hardin, Henry, Huron, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams, Wood, and Wyandot), The Firelands, and Maumee Valley Region.
The deadline for submissions is March 15, 2026.
