Dear colleagues,
*⏰*  *A quick reminder that the call for proposals for NDSA Digital
Preservation 2026  <https://www.ndsa.org/conference/>is open until 1 July
2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. **⏰*

This year's virtual conference takes place on 4-5 November 2026, with the
theme: '
*Striking a Balance: Optimizing Labor for Sustainability and Resilience'.*The
theme reflects challenges many of us are navigating right now — from budget
pressures and expanding digital collections to the growing role of AI and
questions around staff wellbeing. If you have experience, ideas, or work in
progress that speaks to any of these areas, we'd encourage you to consider
submitting.

*Topics of interest include but are not limited to:*

   - Digital preservation workflows and tools
   - AI and machine learning in preservation practice
   - Advocacy, outreach, and donor relations
   - Copyright and privacy issues
   - Project and change management
   - Emotional labor and burnout
   - Community partnerships and consortia


*Three formats are available:*

   - 5-minute lightning talks
   - 15-minute talks or demos
   - 25-minute talks or demos


*Submissions require a title, short abstract (50 words), and a proposal of
up to 250 words*. *All submissions will be peer-reviewed by the NDSA
Program Committee. *
