I am writing to share a heads-up about this week's SAA Standards Committee webinar, "There’s A Standard For That," to be held this Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM (CT)
It's free and open to the archival community; you don't need to be an SAA member to join us.
The session is designed to be fast-paced. We’re hosting 21 different lightning talks (3–4 minutes each) covering various SAA-maintained or endorsed standards. It’s a great way to get a quick scan or refresh of professional guidelines available for everything from metadata, to facilities, to ethical best practices.
For each standard, presenters will address:
