trying to effectively interpret the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938,
this workshop is for you! Learn about employees vs independent
contractors, how overtime is calculated and paid, who is
exempt/non-exempt from overtime pay, who is considered a salaried
employee, what is the salary test and does it apply to public sector
employees; "rounding" for clocking in/out, does the library have to give
employees breaks and are they paid or unpaid, and when must the library
pay for travel time. Bring your questions!
