[OPLINLIST] painting book trucks

We are considering painting some of our well-used (but still sturdy) metal 
book trucks. Does anyone out there have any tips or experience with this 
type of project? Any particular paint that worked well (or didn't)? How 
well did the re-paint job hold up to use? Any information you would be 
willing to share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
