Tips & Traps: How to Write a Technology Grant
When: 10/16/2003
From: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Guernsey County District Public Library, Administration Building, 128
E. 8th St., Cambridge, OH (Directions are available at:
http://www.gcdpl.lib.oh.us/directions.htm )
Speaker: Missy Lodge, Library Programs Administrator, State Library of Ohio
Description: Have a great idea for a technology project but no funds for
implementation? This session is for you. Writing a technology grant is not
so different from preparing other grant applications, and an easy way to
begin if you've never written a grant request.
Find out about LSTA and other grant opportunites for library technology
projects. Learn other tips and traps on preparing a winning technology
grant. There's still time to write a fundable grant for this mini-grant
cycle.
Intended Audience: Library Directors, Technology Coordinators and anyone
interested in learning more about how to write technology grants.
Fee: Free to members and nonmembers
