The presenters will offer their tried and true methods for teaching
computer skills to seniors. Topics will included: introducing seniors to
using the mouse, creating effective handsouts, scheduling programs,
the"buddy system," and much more.
This program is sponsored in part by a donation from Web Wise Seniors, Inc.
Web Wise Seniors, Inc. is offering two publications for purchase -
"Basic Computers For Beginner" and "Microsoft Word for Beginners." Both
books were designed specifically for seniors, are published in large
print, include step-by-step instructions in both a written and picture
format, and begin with the true basics. Cost $29.95 each.
There will be a 10% discount on books ordered prior to the workshop.
