For her 17th year, Dr. Carolyn Brodie will present at OVAL "A Year in
Children's Books" on Thursday, December 9, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Reserve your seat early for this very popular children's services workshop!
Participant comments following last year's workshop included

Reserve your seat early. This workshop is free to OVAL/MOLO/SOLO member
staff and only $60 per person for non-members.

In addition, there's still time to register for the September 24th
Children's Roundtable at OVAL from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cheryl
Blankenship, Briggs Lawrence County Public Library, will moderate this
roundtable and has a wealth of story hour program and craft ideas to share
with you. Also of note, Ruth Metcalf from the State Library of Ohio will
join us at this roundtable. Bring your programming ideas to share!
