Graphic Novels and Anime - Moderated Discussion

      Date:

Tuesday, December 28th, 2004

      Time:

2:00 - 3:30 p.m.

      Location:

GCLC Office

      Speaker:

Moderator: Holly Varley, Collection Development Manager, Clermont County
Public Library

      Description:

Graphic Novels have gained in popularity recently. Anime is a rapidly
growing format as well, but often lacks the familiar review sources that
aid in selection decisions.

· How do you find age-appropriate material?
· How do you handle them?
· Where do you shelve them?
· How do you circulate them?
· Do you need to restrict access?

Join this group of interested librarians and educators to discuss the
issues.
