Nominate an Outstanding Museum or Library for National Service Award

IMLS (Institute of Museum and Library Services) announces the 2005
competition for the National Awards for Museum and Library Service, the
nation's highest honors for extraordinary public service provided by museums
and libraries.

These awards recognize museums and libraries that demonstrate a core
commitment to public service through innovative programs and active
partnerships that address the changing needs of the communities they serve.
This national recognition honors institutions that have created real value
in their communities and have become indispensable partners in community
investment. The IMLS Web site has more information about the awards,
including qualifications, criteria, details on how to apply, and online
application forms. Follow these links: National Award for Museum Service
