OHIONET, a not-for-profit library network with members in Ohio, West
Virginia, and western Pennsylvania, seeks candidates for the following
open positions. Applications received by December 17 receive first

Member Services Representative
Member Services Representative to provide member support of OHIONET
products and services. =20

Qualifications: ALA-accredited MLS or equivalent experience; minimum
three years recent experience in a library reference, collection
development, or acquisitions setting, or with a library vendor;
familiarity with electronic licensing of reference products; experience
in sales, marketing, and support of member services; excellent
interpersonal, writing, and public speaking skills; strong
organizational and analytical skills. Formal experience teaching or
training and/or experience in a library consortia a plus. Travel to
libraries required.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Excellent
benefits include 20 vacation days, 11 holidays, 12 days sick leave,

Cataloging Services Representative to provide effective sales,
marketing, and support of OHIONET/OCLC cataloging services. =20

Qualifications: ALA-accredited MLS preferred; working knowledge of and
experience with OHIONET/OCLC cataloging services; knowledge of library
operations and cataloging workflow; awareness of non-OCLC cataloging
products and services and ability to assist libraries in evaluating
competing products; formal experience teaching or training and/or
experience in a library consortia a plus; experience consulting with
libraries on cataloging solutions highly desirable; three years recent
experience in a library technical services setting or with a library
vendor; excellent interpersonal, writing, and public speaking skills.
Travel to libraries required.
