COMMUNITY RESOURCE/ PUBLIC RELATIONS COORDINATOR

The Pickaway County District Public Library, headquartered in
Circleville, 25 miles South of Columbus, Ohio, is looking for a dynamic,
energetic individual to fill this position. The Main Library operates
from a new 28,000 square foot facility. Duties include: promoting and
marketing library system and services to community via publications,
developing various promotional materials, and working with community
organizations throughout the county to build cooperative relationships.
This position also is responsible for booking the public meeting room in
the library and for updating parts of library web page. Qualifications:
undergraduate degree in communications or related field required.
Previous experience in performing duties of position strongly preferred.
Excellent writing and verbal skills required. Intermediate computer
skills required. Publishing software knowledge preferred. Grant writing
experience beneficial. Annual beginning salary for this full-time
position (40 hours weekly) $22,900.80-$27,643.20 (DOQ). Very good
