Spots are still available for live, web-based training
on the Sanborn Maps resource August 18, 4:00 PM.

This free training class is an excellent introduction
to Sanborn Maps, and the innovative training method is
a great way for busy librarians to get a fast but
comprehensive introduction to this unusual resource.

Session size is limited to allow plenty of opportunity
for asking questions and discussing techniques with your
trainer as well as other participants.

Just email the trainer Carolyn Cardwell at
carolyn.cardwell@il.proquest.com. She will email you a
confirmation with the information you'll need to join the session.

Participants will need a computer with Internet access
to view the session, and a telephone to dial in and listen
to the session.

I can't recommend this highly enough. I "attended"
the training session June 29, and was blown away not
only by how much great information is available in
the Sanborn Maps, but by how well the web-based training
method worked to introduce me to the resource.

Your most humble and obedient servant,

                          Don Yarman
