The Greene County Public Library is seeking a Reference =
Librarian/Trainer and a Reference Librarian for its Xenia Community =
Library.

Reference Librarian/Trainer
This full-time position serves as a reference and training specialist.  =
Identifies training needs for public and staff, and presents regular =
training sessions on the use of electronic resources, including the =
Internet and reference databases.  Participates in the selection of =
materials;  works with local and central selectors in analyzing, =
evaluating, and developing the community library's collections.  =
Qualifications include MLS from accredited ALA program, or equivalent =
combination of experience and training, which provides the required =
knowledge, skills, and abilities.  Instructional design and training =
experience preferred.  Starting salary is $30,929.60 plus benefits.

Reference Librarian
This full-time position serves as a reference specialist.  Provides =
information services to adults and children using print and electronic =
sources.  Participates in the development of extensive reference =
information resources.  Maintains information databases for system-wide =
use.  Participates in the selection of materials;  works with local and =
central selectors in analyzing, evaluating, and developing the community =
library's collections.  Qualifications include MLS from accredited ALA =
program.  Proven ability in reference service, including electronic =
retrieval.   Starting salary is $30,929.60 plus benefits.
