The Academic Library Association of Ohio's Support Staff Interest Group 
(ALAO-SSIG) Spring Workshop

Keynote Speaker:  Carol Brey-Casiano, President-Elect of the American 
Library Association and Director of the El Paso (TX) Public Library

When:  Monday, May 24, 2004, from 9:00am to 3:30pm

Where:  Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, OH (just north of Columbus)

Workshop Description:
Ms. Brey-Casiano will address ALA and its relation to support staff 
members, support staff issues and initiatives in general, the issue of pay 
equity for support staff and librarians, and her agenda as ALA president 
over the course of her keynote address and a question and answer

an invitation to support staff members and librarians of all types of 
libraries to take advantage of this unique opportunity to hear Ms. 
Brey-Casiano in a small setting.

There will also be three afternoon breakout sessions following lunch.  More 
information will be posted on the registration site shortly.

Registration:
The registration fee is $40 and includes lunch and a continental 
breakfast.  Registration materials and instructions are available on the
