Louis will be presenting a variety of examples of how librarians and
library staff can make use of distance education opportunities for both
professional growth and providing services to library patrons. Distance
education delivery methods will be covered. A list of resources and
organizations will also be provided. Delivery of bibliographic
instruction and information literacy via distance education will also be
reviewed. Southern State utilizes interactive video and chat with a
librarian software to provide library services to a multi-campus
environment.
